With a heavy heart I am distressed to inform everyone, John’s prognosis is not good in terms of recovery. He is responsive at the moment with his eyes, but not sure how long that will last. We encourage you to go soon to see John within the next three weeks.  We need a miracle and maybe if his friends visit, things could change for John.

I’m sorry to give this update.

John's oldest brother

Merry Christmas to all. I saw John today and he seemed very alert especially when he saw the “Whispering Angel” rose I brought him. All he needed was a haircut. 🙂 I am hopeful that miracles will happen – he looked at me in the eye from one end of the bed continuously to the other side whilst I was leaving. I hope many would see what I saw. Love to him and his family.

    Dear Fred,
I sent you an e mail – don’t know if you saw it. We are sending all the positive energies we can gather up to get John up and on his feet as soon as possible. Your brother is so loved by so many people all over the world. Last night I was going through old photos back from 2009 when John came here to Israel and to Jordan. I found more pics when we went met up in London and saw Priscilla together. Great memories – and we will make more! Keep strong and please know how many people are thinking of him and routing for him. He will be well!

  • Ylan Chrem Mesnik says:

I met John in Chicago more than twenty years ago, before he became CEO of IGLTA, and our connection was immediate. When I later moved to Fort Lauderdale, he was the very first to cross the threshold of my new home. And even when distance separated us, our bond never wavered—we were always close in spirit.

John is a man of great strength, kindness, and courage—a true fighter. I know he is doing everything within his power to heal, to rise, and to find his way back to full strength.

We send John, his family, and all who love him our deepest love, light, and healing energy.

  • Glenn Stress says:

His strength and tenacity are legendary and I am praying for a positive outcome. Please let him know how much he is loved!
